We are lovers of good food, and we believe that you should not give up either option. That is why we have created a rich and varied menu, designed to offer you a lunch break that will remain in your memories!
Those who have discovered us, often owe it to a friend or family member who, on returning from their holiday, has told everyone about the beauty of our area and the goodness of the dishes they have tasted here.
Rich in authentic flavours and full of energy, perfect to recharge your batteries after a nice hike to the hut or a day’s skiing!

Every season, our menu changes, following the creativity of our chef, who always manages to create dishes that are truly unmissable.
If you are a vegetarian, don’t worry: we have a menu just for you, with fresh and tasty dishes that bring out the goodness of local ingredients.
You will certainly have heard of our Legendary Sandwiches in the streets of San Martino di Castrozza and Primiero.
Why legendary? Well, we cannot reveal the secret, but one thing is certain: they are irresistible . Perhaps it is because of the harmony of flavours we create, the generosity with which we stuff them, or because we use only the best local products…
There is always that moment, maybe during a holiday away from home, when you find yourself talking to a stranger about how good our sandwich with speck, tosèla cheese and grilled vegetables is.
The magic is in the taste, and it is impossible not to share it!
Our legendary sandwiches are prepared on the outdoor grill, strategically positioned next to the start of the new Valcigolera cable car. Taking off your skis and being tempted is an instant: their aroma will capture you before you even arrive!
The Malga Valcigolera is open daily from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m., from the beginning of December to the end of March.
Re-opening for the summer season usually takes place in mid-June until mid-September.

La Malga Valcigolera è raggiungibile in estate esclusivamente a piedi o in bicicletta, mentre d’inverno è possibile utilizzare anche gli impianti di risalita della Ski Area San Martino – Passo Rolle, alimentati al 100% con Energia Pulita proveniente da fonti rinnovabili.
Per raggiungere San Martino di Castrozza, punto di partenza per raggiungere la Malga Valcigolera, si consiglia di utilizzare i mezzi pubblici così da ridurre il proprio impatto sull’ambiente.
Con l’obiettivo di migliorare il controllo della propria prestazione ambientale complessiva e aumentare il coinvolgimento e la trasparenza nei confronti della cittadinanza, dei clienti, dei fornitori e di tutti i soggetti esterni interessati, alla Malga Valcigolera abbiamo decido di adottare la certificazione di qualità ambientale Ecoristorazione Trentino, rispettando i criteri obbligatori previsti dal disciplinare ed avendo superato la soglia minima di punteggio richiesta dalla Provincia Autonoma di Trento per il rilascio del marchio.
